India is home to a number of plants that have medicinal/pest repellent properties. Some of these are Neem, Pongamia, Papaya, Hemp, Agave, Dhatura, Calotrpis, Castor, etc. Indigenous and traditional knowledge practices also advice the use of crushed garlic & chilly.
